Another empty page
Stares me in the face.
My words all seem to retreat
Into a secret place.
No matter how hard I try
I can't seem to find
The right words to express
What is on my mind.
Another uncertain day,
Awaits me in the morrow.
Will it be a day of happiness?
Or one filled with sorrow?
Will there be more happy songs
Left for me to sing?
What lies in store for me?
What will the future bring?
Another broken spirit
Joins the club tonight.
Another lonely soul
Wanting to see the light.
Another breathless moment
With nothing left to say,
but, “God give me the strength,
To face another Day”
