Another Dragon
I knew instantly what I could see
There flashing in the sunlight
Caressing the air with electricity
A Dragon flying towards me
There came a gentle sighing sound
“Hello to you that’s Earth bound”
The mighty beast did say to me
His Spirit Friend spoke soft and low
“What is it that you wish to know?”
We spoke of things I needed so
A rainbow of colour, our talk flowed
Thought took over, as was their way
In an instant all answers were told
Stories of love and people bold
Of fear that grew throughout the years
At this, he shed some sparkling tears
We had touched on memories bare
That he would rather have left there
His world had shrank and gone away
He resides in the world of dreams today
It mattered not he sent out to me
As they now live in Spirit's Infinity
I came here today just to see
One of you who still did believe
The mighty creature stood so tall
The light danced I stood in awe
Then realised what Dragons were
A thought a dream nothing more
But in that dream of years gone by
We made him great and let him fly
Added fire to purify our ways
A beautiful creature, dream filled days
Now we have made him, he must be
In Spirit time for all now to see
A creature so great in dreams we hide
Sky born in Spirit they now reside.
