Another Dawn

On a chilly night,
I miss the sunlight.
Left me behind in profound stress,
Tomorrow’s light feels hopeless.

My hands are frosty.
My mind feels cloudy.
I try to soothe my troubled mind,
I search for a cane like a blind.

The dawn awakens me.
What a lovely glow I see!
New light inspires me to thrive.
Awakened birds sing in the heights.

I completely forgot.
A chilly night has passed,
Another lovely dawn shines,
Encouraging me to embrace life
