Another daughter, another day
Another daughter, another day.
Another daughter another day
At 6 her life was taken away.
Another day another daughter,
from her there will be no more laughter.
Her mother’s addiction is no fiction.
She chose a life of drugs and living with thugs.
She sold her daughter.
From Joshlin there will be no more laughter
Her big beautiful green eyes will never blink again.
Her mother sold her so she can buy drugs again.
She was so young and adorable.
Yet so young and vulnerable
She has been robbed of a life,
Her mother has sold her like honey in a hive.
Never will she grow up and have kids
Her mother has sealed her lips.
In memory of Joshlin Smith
