Another Darling Lost Within the Fear

I think I saw you in my sleep, darling
You still cross my mind from time to time
Even though your words were so harming
I still mostly smile
Still so set to finding out where we went wrong
So I trace every step with an unsure pen
Why are you gone?
Trying to figure out where my head had ben’
But then again what’s the point anyway?
My head just ain’t what it used to be every now and then
Even though you are, you ain’t my enemy
I will never ever have to deal with you again
It went up with the bottle and down with the beer.
I have battled my greatest fear.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
