Another Choice

As planet Earth slowly revolves, sunset inks the horizon red. And as night shrouds reality, anxieties get promptly fed. Fear manifests in the shadows that a dying sun has bestowed. And dusk starts to blacken the sky as daylight begins to erode. Ebony pools in silhouettes, etched on a monochrome twilight. And trillions of stars pierce the dark as galaxies confetti night. Sounds echo off walls of silence; magnifying the softest voice. While Luna beams Her saffron light, offering night another choice.

Love the imagery in the opening lines. Love "trillions of stars pierce the dark" and "Sounds echo off walls of silence magnifying the softest voice." A charming poem, Emile.

Emile, this is elegant . . . stunningly lovely. The line "as galaxies confetti the night" is, by itself, a treasure. Thank you for sharing this remarkable work of art.
