Another Chance:

I may not suffer nightmares,
Though many fill my day,
I may not have many cares,
They tend to wander away.

I probably have only one good friend,
Never needed any more,
But I do have many fences to mend,
I've been there stacks before.

It's hard sometimes to walk in life,
With ones head held up high,
There's always some trouble or strife,
That makes you question why.

One thing you should know for sure,
Is tomorrow's another day,
Whether you're rich or simply poor,
Another chance shall come your way.

I really like how you did this one on second chance, Rick. It was also nice to find a recent one of yours I had not seen! Good job here.

Relatable, we've all squandered our chances one time or another. Chumbawamba – Tubthumping would say "I get knocked down, but I get up again, You are never gonna keep me down" :)

We can only hope there is, a chance to redeem ourselves or enjoy the happiness we have. This was very uplifting my friend. Really nicely done.
