Annoyance
When I see people with dull contentment
Lulled by pathetic and placid satisfaction
Forget to fight the wrongs heaped on them
I feel very much agitated and uncomfortable.
When I see people making merry with glee
Immersed in their own self-centred joys
And remain indifferent to others’ miseries
I feel very much agitated and uncomfortable.
When I see people gripped with self-progress
Singularly obsessed to achieve it somehow
And show no concern to problems of others
I feel very much agitated and uncomfortable.
When I see people amassing resources filthy
By resorting to fair or foul means copiously
Ignoring the sad plight of their fellow beings
I feel very much agitated and uncomfortable.
When I see people practicing discrimination
With their own brethren unapologetically
Forgetting the oneness of spirit all- pervading
I feel very much agitated and uncomfortable.
