Annihilation

In all the years of existence
I never could have imagined
I would be so flabbergasted
That just by a single action
We no longer are associated
Because of a tangible affidavit
Now has taken us back
To the beginning of our ages
Where we were divided
By the sins of just one forbidden tree
Has now determined
You and I can no longer be
A consonant in each other lives
Irreconcilable was repeatedly
Our final demise
Like Adam & Eve
We have been separated
By ancestry damnation
Our marriage has been
Completely annihilated
