Annie Takes a Load Off

Annie Takes A Load Off
Annie lets the song play, hips cut like a blade,
Lights dim, bass hits, shadows start to cascade.
She moves like a weapon, every step’s an arcade,
No fear in her veins, just the beat she obeyed.
Annie lets the song play, fire in her stride,
She’s the storm, the calm, the wave and the tide.
No hesitation, no pause, she’s the guide,
Annie lets the song play, she’s alive inside.
Cherry coke on her lips, sweet venom she sips
She spins, teasing, pulling him into her eclipse.
Locked eyes, no escape, the room starts to slip,
He steps in, her rhythm’s got him caught in the grip.
Fingertips trace her spine, mapping the scars,
Gravity pulls them close, like planets and stars.
No resistance, no weight, no prison bars,
Just the rhythm, the beat, the world is ours.
Annie lets the song play, beats hit like a drum,
She moves like a prophecy, where she’s from.
No hesitation, no pause, she’s the one,
Annie lets the song play, her war’s been won.
Lights flicker, shadows stretch, bodies collide,
The song’s still spinning, the night’s their guide.
Annie lets the song play, no need to hide,
She is okay, she’s alive inside
