Anne Frank

Everyday I wake with a fear
But to shed there is no tear,
I wonder if my mind can put up with today's fight
The guards outside will dictate my fate tonight.
I shall not lose devotion
But there are times when I need explanations
You have never left me for a second or two,
Then why am I scared when I am destined to seek you ?
Then I hear my name ,
The soldiers outside transport me
Where I have to be.
The sun has come up with no seeable change,
But I can see hope
Now that I have survived another day.
