ANIMUS

A woman can more or less possess
          animus simultaneous with female criteria
strongly revealed in character of Cleopatra
the world famous black beauty empress.

Genuine feminine in love and romance
with masculine firmness as politician and ruler,
         great personality of astonishing administrator
used animus in her each performance.

One of my aunts showed the guts to stay unmarried
with vigorous youth in mid twentieth century
and little education, jobless, yet in glory
the position of head of the family is always carried.

She reared up younger siblings with care to protect,
playing the role of parent as her parents passed away.
A dutiful father and caring mother followed on way.
Single woman with high animus drew due respect.

With extra maternal instinct I showered ceaseless affection
to my children always considering as priority
with strict discipline and principle in family
as I learnt from my father’s strong administration.

A man needs anima for love and care to be shown
to realize moral values of life in sacrifice.
A woman with animus is elegant and nice
with aggressive amazing personality to own
