animus
A stoic that sits in shadows’ silence watching moves like stray black cat under paint peeled garden table stealing food from my bowl
that knows my thoughts before they arrive because its cracked mirror called it in
it nods approval at new sweater yet prefers naked waters where breasts swim with tuna
and yellowtail because dolphins disappeared
his long tangled hair holding a grail that I can only drink from in ethers where taste has no tongue, all I can feel is berry bristles in wind
this animus that accompanied me since time immemorial when God gave us noses aquiline and servile saying their breath will match despite shape ~ I saw this truth in herb gardens of Pharaohs watching basil whiffs sway nostril hairs, keys were by Nefertiti’s permission
this animus that is also anima, kicks my butt to write for addictive contests when I’m inclined not to, them being peripheral facades, saying I’m Third Dimensional delinquent, needing to learn matrix ladder cracks
when my accusation floats of double lives, he nods saying Christmas chocolate is good with Zen decorations, mothers need tinsel on trees to maintain a semblance of sanity ~ in any case I have versions more than double living specular sittings in cosmic corners
this animus that reads bedtime stories to foreign children whose language is war music puts up house frames in days with aura alone, assists birthings like a trained midwife, enjoying feel of human blood to wash with tears he cannot openly cry because masculines were trained not to
yet my breath was first God whiffed before ivory roots when feet chakras were unformed with navel to navel bonded in figures of eight, not to be slashed, even if serpents sought other muddy soil or tried to cultivate a lotus in shallow ponds
its probing insertions cannot penetrate golden boundary as it’s already inside, irretrievably
armoured, protected and protecting
solid curved wrought iron bars through which I can see, remains immovable, untouched, with windows half open for vanilla breezes
rejection fears, shame or macho leather jackets political speeches or hidden wallet contents, silent mantras, marble profiles, strategic escapes assertions that all is well when roof tumbles shattering mouldy tiles on my toes, remains
veiled in bookish knowledge, advocate games salted pretzels
this the animus that God adores beyond measure, gifted to my anima as dust
between fingers falling on sea foam for
Neptune to herald
syrup to syrup !
