Animals

ANIMALS

how they sniff the wind,
far away look in their eyes,
what are they thinking?
or is thought necessary,
vital to consciousness?

i say they sense god’s
heaven of simplicity,
his love for all things,
accept the world just as is,
accept life and death alike

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I am a huge animal lover and I like to write about them as well. I also feel that animals have a keener insight to life and death.

This is beautiful, Daver! Though animals do mostly feel this quiet respect and seeming detachment; other times they appear to mourn in their own humble and repectful way .Love, Mikki
