Anguish of Silence
The anguish of silence is too much to bear
It makes me wonder if the world really cares
But in the end an answer will come
And maybe stop this feeling so numb
I look at you but you're not really there
Do you really see, do you really care?
Why don't you see me for who I really am?
Not just the pawn in this blood drenched scam
Why don't you see my tears when I cry?
Is it just that to my emotions you're blind?
The world around you is falling apart
But you can't see it, not even in your heart
Blood falls from the scratches in my face
It falls into my mouth and I drown in this place
You see me go down in a world full of fear
But in your mind I never was here
