Anguish

Oh my heart
keep beating though
there is a hole
in my chest so large
it defies description

To have passion
for such a beauty
with a compassionate
heart and soul.
But yet I’m rejected

The scent of spices
brings me back
to intimate embraces,
private smiles and giggles,
sensual passion beyond compare

Anguish,
Yearning,
Pain,
Despair,
My heart aches but still beats

Glad you enjoyed it... I wrote it after I thought that I had lost the love of my life. As tough as some things get we as humans persist through the pain. Keep up the good writing, I enjoyed the pieces that have posted. Nicely done.
