Angry Silence

There is an angry silence In the corner of my soul, It wasn't there when I was young, But I feel it as I grow old. It's a word that was not spoken In my shyness, slipped away, I should have made a statement But silence with me stayed. I don't like the feeling That is left within my being, I try to show my anger But it's only pain I'm feeling. I've tried many times To express my point of view, Only to be told You're nothing but a fool. The only thing that I can say Is when I need to take a stand, Silence owner takes my soul And shows my trembling hands. Lynn (Hanna) Barany

I love how this poem really squeezes out all those emotions we all feel and makes it noticably easier to relate to feelings this poem gives that we all get....and it ends deep...what i might even be doing when my hands are trembling is writing a poem to get it out. A really good...sweet thoughful poem. Inspires me to write one...in fact i think i will right now. Ty for the inspiration. Btw i know your nefew george. He pointed me your way.
