Notes About The Poem
This happened on a parking lot and no one wanted to get involved in case the young man was on drugs. I shake my head at some of the things that go on in a parking lot.
Angry Guy
It gave me quite a surprise
what I saw with my very eyes.
A young man in a fit of rage
He should know better at his age.
He had music blaring in his truck
Anyone walking would have to duck.
For into the parking lot he did swing
Paying no attention to a thing.
A cart was in his way
Odd behavior he did display.
He got out and picked up two carts
and threw them like they were darts.
He was quite a strong young lad
But to us he looked very mad.
No one approached him for his display
Only caused me more dismay.
Everyone looked but no word spoken
Luckily the carts were not broken.
If one of us had the guts to be strong
We would of told him this was wrong.
We fail to stand up for what is right
For we do not want to start a fight.
