Angry people hurt
Living heart-felt tragedies
Sometimes reliving them too
Over and over
Anger is really sadness
No one is truly angry

Caren Krutsinger October 18, 2018 at 12:46 AM Thank you Susan. I am an elementary school counselor, and I see sadness all the time masked as anger. I learned a long time ago to ask not "why are you mad?" but instead, "why are you sad?" it has served me well. This is when the floodgates open.
