anger feeds off hurt
buried somewhere in your heart
in a shallow grave,
and in times of pain
memories resurrect it
restoring its strength
it needs no excuse
to weaponizes contempt
and unleash pent-up hatred
on all those it blames
for life's failures and downfalls
oblivious as to why
