Anger

Anger is dark red like a furious volcano face Tastes like a bitter rotten grape Smells like burnt ashes under a violent rain Looks like a betrayed fine soul put in a frame Sounds like injured shrieks in a deserted place Feels like being silenced alive when showing faith. After numerous attempts I have at last come across one poem which eluded me. I can never imagine you ever being really angry, Besma, even if you had reason to...we teachers learn the art of self-control:) Here you cleverly appeal to the senses to make your point; end line strikes home. ~ Warm regards & Blessings // paul

You have the heart and mind of a great teacher, Paul.. Indeed, we learn to control ourselves.. We are not just teachers lecturing in the classroom, we are affecting generations with every single behaviour and word.. I do get angry but I have a great control over myself.. I see the whole thing as a self respect.. I'm so humbled, Paul, and so pleased you see my soul.. always trying to do what is right! Thank you so much for your sincere and great words! My deepest regards and blessings.

Dear Besma, your blazing imagery of anger involves a feast for the senses, in dramatic fashion, from a soulful heart that has seen this emotion on the physical, mindful and spiritual level - your last line, especially, is dynamic in its power of conveying what it's like to be on the receiving end of such anger.. Your poetry is beautiful in its thought provoking emotional impact. Your ardent reader greatly appreciates your poetic artistry my dear friend. Warmest wishes and love always.. ~Susan
