Angel's Tears
An angel crying at dusk and dawn,
An angel crying at the birth of a fawn.
The raindrops at the morning light,
Are the tears of an angel’s unheard plight.
The little children playing on London’s streets,
They are now gone, for they had nothing to eat.
The snow falling on those empty streets,
Are the tears of an angel, crying for the children so sweet.
An angel crying at the end of the world,
All alone with the darkness as their only console,
The stars you see at night,
Are the tears of an angel, crying with all her might.
A poor lost soul, who wanders everywhere,
To try and find where they belong.
The little streams, rivers and lakes,
Are the tears of an angel, hoping they might.
An angel crying for all of humanity,
An angel crying for most were innocent,
But suffer more misery.
An angel crying for all that is lost,
An angel crying for hope long gone.
