Angels Danced Precious child you were born blue with an apgar score of only two, not breathing. Your mommy struggled long to give you life with great difficulty in a brow birth which led to a C section. After two days of torturous labor, you took your first breath. You were rushed to intensive care where you would remain there for nine fearful days. Healing hands were laid upon your little body all those days until at last you were strong enough to leave the sterile walls and crib of your hospital confinement. With great joy you were brought home and your captured smile in a photograph says it all. That day the angels danced. a prayerful vigil beside your hospital bed-- angels watched o're you 9-5-19

This touched my heart, for one of my own daughter's had a long hospitalization following her birth. Such irony that "healing hands were laid upon your body" until leaving the "sterile walls and crib" of "hospital confinement." At first, I thought this was reference to nurses; I think not. It is, perhaps, the grandparents, parents, and friends. Those who love are the healing touch in the midst of medical machinery.

My daughter who I taught reiki to and I were there every day putting hands on my granddaughter to help her heal. She is a healthy nine year old now. Reiki is an ancient healing art like healing touch. We are blessed with her health. Thank you Kira. Blessings xxoo

Hi Connie, this is an exceptional write. It must have been a terrible time. Yet, in the end, the little one walked into life. Brings tears to the eyes. I can relate to this one, I was my mother's little miracle baby. I am so glad that the little one made it and is going strong. You always touch the emotions of the reader with such deep feeling Connie. This has to be a fave. Have a wonderful Monday. Hugs....Mike. XX

They say to write about what you know about and of course the feelings will shine through. This is about my little granddaughter who is now a healthy seven-year-old. Thank you Nette. I didn't read the rules right so didn't make the list. xxoo

You know I lived Kyle's version of this so, of course, I relate and feel down to the depths of me in reaction to your poem. Your poem is powerful enough to break me should I fully go there and that alone tells you how strong of a write it is. So, your 'missed one' is the babe above?, and you and J know the feel of it, and how great the blessings of healing and health can be to a parent. I didn't know that. Ohhh and Love, CayCay

Just CayCay, this is about my granddaughter and how she entered this world. Mommy and I were down there damn night doing reiki on her. We were determined she would live and be healthy. She is now a healthy seven-year-old. No one would guess she had such a difficult time being born. I know how much you relate CayCay. Thank you. Love, Connie : ) xxoo

It is so sad when a child comes into this world with health problems. So glad this baby was able to go home after nine days. This sounds like it was written from personal experience. A fave for me, Connie. Hugs, Carolyn
