Angels Danced
Precious child you were born blue with an apgar score of
only two, not breathing. Your mommy struggled long to
give you life with great difficulty in a brow birth which
led to a C section. After two days of torturous labor, you
took your first breath. You were rushed to intensive care
where you would remain there for nine fearful days.
Healing hands were laid upon your little body all those
days until at last you were strong enough to leave the
sterile walls and crib of your hospital confinement. With
great joy you were brought home and your captured smile
in a photograph says it all. That day the angels danced.
a prayerful vigil
beside your hospital bed--
angels watched o're you
