Angels

They speak softly but you can sometimes hear it

Ever over watching us this pure contingent spirit

Full of peace and heavenly glow

They appear and disappear through the door of a shadow

A messenger of God who brings his word

We listen for them but have we really heard

Guarding us from danger steering us to the right

As they sing their songs basking in eternal light

They fly in love and dream of peace until they have a message to send

They shall come for us when we meet our final end
