Angel of the Sea
the waves so high and forceful rushing toward me like a train
i'm off my feet going down so deep the water fills my brain
floating to the bottom i see all blackness now
then something grabs me from behind and lifts me up somehow
the air overwhelms me as my lungs began to swell
will never again take for granted a breath that never fails
the wind blows right through me and chills me to my core
while the sun on my face delights my every pore
my eyes now in focus for my rescuer to see
the most beautiful thing i ever saw god had sent to save just me
her eyes and skin just glistened and shined like all the stars
my dolphin angel you'll always be even from afar
she nodded and then smiled so lovingly at me
then she turned away and went back down into the deep blue sea.
