Angel of Death

Angel of Death,
Cloaked in black.
With black scaled wings,
Upon her back.
Angel of Death,
Coming for me.
As soon as I sleep
Then dead I will be.
Taken by the night
It swallows and consumes me.
Now I am the angel
And death becomes me.

Damn good for being written by such a youngster, though I'm not that old LOL! I started at 15, some of those I have posted here on soup, but this is quite inspiring work. Very Good! MC

Thank You! I actually wrote this when I was in 7th grade, about 13 years old. Actually one of the first poems I ever wrote that I really thought anything of :)

I accidentally deleted this piece this morning in a fog for the poem I was trying to post last night actually went through, about 5 times... then this was accidentally deleted after receiving about 30 views and 3 comments. Wish I could get those back!
