Angel of Death

What happened to the days
When time wasn't so fast?
We look toward the future
While forgetting our past

And as we grow older
Time really does fly
We just close our eyes
And life passes us by

The days seem like minutes
It's here, then it's gone
The nights go by quickly
Not lasting as long

The moment we're born
Our body starts to die
Thinking life's forever
But believing a lie

Death has no boundaries
It comes to us all
Time just stands by
And watches us fall

The Angel of Death
Watches us sleep
Ever so patient
Until time to reap

Awesome, Larry. Great! Enjoyed this a lot. Dark without being "scary", very clever.
