Angel In the Darkness
Were are you my angel in the darkness?
Why did you let go of my hand?
Where were you taking me?
Speeding away on your broken wings.
Fixing the broken hearts,
and giving the gifts of happiness
in a dream of hate.
Speed along my angel,
Bring hope to despair,
mercy to cruelty,
and happiness to sadness.
Wipe away the tears
of the lost.
Wash away the nightmares
of the dirtied dreams.
Whisper words of love
to weeping hearts.
Were are you my Angel in the Darkness?
Whose hand are you holding now?
Take them from the darkness.
Speed away, my angel, on your broken wings.
