Angel In Black

In stark contrast to the blinding white light
A pair of ebony wings stretching meters long
Locks like strands of lovely wheat
Eyes like twin pearls

Even in the light there is darkness
But in the darkness there rests a light
That may never go out

And though the sun must eventually set
We all know it will rise again
