Angel Eyes

Torn and broken
Confused, forgot
Missed and wanted
Hopeless, distraught

With all the madness,
All the lies.
Through all the sadness ,
Of no good byes .

She stands strong,
Never breaking down.
Proving she's growing,
but afraid to drown.

She holds the answers
To all the tears.
All the questions
Through all the years.

She says the words
To just be heard
Nothing matters
It's all absurd

She bears feelings
Emotions so deep
The feelings are hidden
To forever keep

When the angel falls short
She gives her good byes
Not bearing the words
But they fall from her eyes

I love this one. What is sadness with out hope. Silence is sometimes best described with tears, and tears are best dried with meaning. What matters most is you are. Smile. Love, Josh

Lisa - Very gifted in the word choice as well as the message - I think Vince said it all - I'm 48 and I have a 6 year old daughter as I watch her personality start to bloom I find myself trying to hold her back and keep my little girl - of course i catch myself and realize that I'm pretty lucky to have such a wonderful and beautiful treasure in my life - God Bless, MJ

Touching. I work with kids that this poem pretty much describes their lives. Through The Rain, Shattered Dreams and Turtle are actual poems about some of the kids. The angel never falls short. The useless adults are the ones who fall short. God Bless. Vince
