Angel Envy

...and all of heavens
angels were jealous of what we
had shared together...and I
knew this because when we
kissed I heard them all at once
give out a sigh of longing, a
breath of wanting for what we
felt together in that moment. In
one heavenly accord they sang
without words a song of
passion and despair, for every
single one of them would have
traded eternity to have lived for
one second in that sweet
embrace...to live in that feeling
we shared that they were never
created to understand, yet
could not turn away from. And I
no longer feared death,
because I had already died in
your arms...and I was
resurrected from a life of
eternal despair...and I knew
that something so strong would
save me from the darkness.
Together forever in that
passionate embrace, we
became one...one heart,
inseparable...and no time or
distance could ever tear us
apart.
