Angel Boy Protects the Road

He awoke with a start; it’s time! The voice said
This rarely happened, but when it did he knew what he had to do
He flew to the road where he lost his earth life.
Just in time to see the cars slip and slide into each other
He split himself in half to protect the children in both cars.
Saving six lives that day. Then he quietly slipped into the woods.
Without being seen by the adults, but being appreciated forever by the children.
It was his earth mission, and he enjoyed it to the ultimate degree.
Are you ready? His guides asked him.
He certainly was. Went back to his sleep-like state
until he was called the next time.
