Angel

Angel.

Nights in black and white,
My mind keeps drifting from side to side.

Wondering about the voice I heard at night,
Is it an angel or God?

"Be patient," The voice said,
I heard it so clear, strange to say the least.

The voice whispered in my own ear,
It made me scared, and it made me fear.

Fear from God who heard my cry,
Begging for mercy, to save a child.

Praying to all angels to keep her safe
The mother of my children, and my soulmate.

This is a sign for me to know,
That God is up there, and I am not alone.

I did get angry for the suffering you caused,
Left without mercy this innocent soul.

She's confused she said.
"why me"? "What have I done,
To deserve such pain"?
"Or is it my luck or my fate"?

She was punished for no real crime?
My soulmate, the one I love.

I’ll keep my faith every time I'm down,
With my forehead touching the ground.

Hi Linda, I'll tell you a secret, it's true i didn't invent it. I heard the voice. My wife got very sick last year she got the big "C" and our life was turned upside down. It was very tormenting for me to see the love of my life suddenly diagnosed with a terrible disease. But thank God she is still here and hope one day she will be back on her feet again!!! Thank you once again. Love Ali
