And Yes Tis the Glory of Spring We So Adore

And Yes Tis The Glory Of Spring We So Adore And yes tis the glory of Spring we so adore When cold weather relents, better temps we implore As vibrant colors emerge, our hearts begin to sing Nature then casts so sweetly its finest of rings A most vibrant compelling step into our lives One which in its great beauty a soul gladly dives. Mother earth dances forth its welcoming new songs With renewed powers rights winter's harshest of wrongs Creating to our delight that rich, verdant green Sun and sky join to radiant resplendent sheen Mankind can then surge out to enjoy Nature's best As we may seek new romance at our heart's behest. And yes tis the glory of Spring we so adore When cold weather relents, better temps we implore As vibrant colors emerge, our hearts begin to sing Nature then casts so sweetly its finest of rings. Robert J. Lindley, 3-13-2021 Rhyme, ( Inspired this morn by my reading Maureen's McGreavy's- "playing footsie" haiku )

Good morning Robert, Stopping by to read one of your beautiful poems. Here in Canada Spring arrived early then played a trick on us...We had snow on Wednesday. It is all gone now. Thank you for sharing your wonderful poetry.

"Mother earth dances forth its welcoming new songs With renewed powers rights winter's harshest of wrongs" wonderful imagery here, penned with great depth of thought, this is beautiful.

Fortunately spring comes with a promise of a better life, Robert. We realize that what we dreaded the night before is not so bad after all. This poem is lovely and optimistic, my friend. Best regards // paul

Amen, Brother - all is coming alive again, even a world that has been in an extended "winter" of Covid fear ... the warmth of optimism and renewed life is about us - as you have so exquisitely captured here ... bravo!

Thank you my friend. For both your reply and the inspiration given by your very fine poem that gave cause for me to compose that new poem. In my estimation it is indeed a true and great blessing if and when one of our offerings inspires another poet to compose a new poem. As such is true evidence of the finer poetic abilities of the poet that gave such inspiration. God bless...

Thanks my friend. I have been sick, but am recovering. Always a task to try to catch up on my poetry reading, posting, commenting. One that will take me a few days it now seems as my energy level is low and my passion for poetry not as it once was! God bless..
