And With a Sip
The hurt, the pain were now combined.
Oh love, so lost, for which she pined.
A memory of sweet embrace.
Forever gone, without a trace.
This longing, now to be dissolved.
With just a sip quickly resolved.
And so the liquid death she drank.
Into the deadly sleep she sank.
