And Therein Is You

Where therefore have my years gone
that I have only to sit in rememberance
as a sweet song whose rapture
is carried on the winds
of many tears-

Hast not my soul been delivered
of virtuous inquisitions
thoughtful of expressive solitude
dignity's decadent hour
final remorse for this haven of conceptual thought-

Wither bygone regrets concede
to these my final hours
and in the shadows
therein is you-

Lest not my tears reach
the floors of Heaven
and iniquity doth
carry my sins
to the begotten rose
of diamond shores-
