And Then I Saw the Light Courtesy of You

under the golden sun
wish for the perfect moon
still smiling despite the rain
so soothing now is my brain
thought i had the just right plan
instead i was playing the all wrong song
when i actually did fall,
i knew right then and there what the hell was going on

kissing you under the New Moon
wishing for the Calm Version of the Setting Sun
still flirting with you despite the rain
so soothing now is your brain
i remember when you were my babysitter
you caught me checking you out daringly and with pride
you were the Inspiration for every Sunset and Moonrise to me
and that has never changed

Thank God For A Small World
