Mother

And Then He Grew Up

Nothing is broken so get up
and walk it off, you belong to the club
of hard knocks; life ain’t fair-
drink whiskey, don’t drink beer;
psychedelics open wide your mind.

She will meet you there to read
all the secrets you believed could bleed
for the passion of your dark Angelica-
with no life preserver you will drown
within her arrogant esoterica.

I enjoyed reading your "And Then He Grew Up" write. Love your line, "of hard knocks; life ain’t fair-." So Very True... "Good Luck" I did, "A Mother's Figure From Dreams." Have a fun day writing away..............
