And the Ness Builds

Do you ever feel like you’re about to scream?
For no reason?
Like you have all of this…
           Ness
Just building up inside of you
And if you don’t let it out somehow
You’ll burst.

You know what I’m talking about.
When you feel like you’re made up
Of strained rubber bands
Ready to
Pop.

And if you don’t slowly
Relieve some of the tension
That has your mind
And body
Right on the edge
Then you might just fall off
The ledge.

The ness of life has you
Wanting to run
Ready to destroy
Standing by
And waiting
For God knows what.

I can see in the way
You stare down at the
Nothing
That you know just what I mean.

I can see the scream intensifying
In your eye’s mind.

I can see the ness of life
Captivating the reason
Destroying the decent
And taking over.

I can see you turning into
Me.
And me into you.

The ness builds
And turns us into
Itself.
