And So It Continues

killing time looking at the creek
smiling at the poor man's anecdotes
knowing one day that he will die along
with the era that defined the purity of
positivity for me and the whole of who
I am and the center of the Self that
adequately defines Me in retrospect....

creeping into my current nowadays,
I still hold conversations with the
surprising side of unexpected....
and it seems to never stop cautiously,
but continuously let's go, which alters
my vision to a sudden shade of green....
