And So It Begins
And so it begins,
you start slowing down
muscles atrophied
sight begins to blur
and dreams drift away.
Your hair turns grey
you wear false teeth
you put on weight
and cannot sleep.
You’re grouchy
and can't hear,
all sure signs
you are
growing
old.
