And So I Cried
I send you flowers by the drove
and all my fantasies
My heart beat in a steady rove
and all my love;
You opted to postpone me love ,
your sweet affection
was denied, and so I cried;
While all the flowers in my grove
dried up and died,
I gathered up my words
and all my fantasies
and took them home.
