And Sighs

billowing blue black blanket
tossed over a lonely land
close enough to crush me

yet, so cruely suspended
above the jagged road that cuts
through golden waves

crows fly straight up to you
and disappear
where you wrap that painful red path up
into a passionate homecoming
kiss

why can't I?

stormy blue eyes
fierce and longing
implore

in you I see
all past
all possibilities
all promises

and sighs

yeah
commit some more
poetry
