And I Wait

Your open eyes reach to my heart
Stabbing me like poison darts
Sadness flows from my core
All I want is a minute more
You know I like you but do you know
The passion that just grows and grows
I try to show it but can you fund
The true meaning within my mind
You probably don't feel like I do
But I know when I look at you
You are the one that would be true
Please tell me if I am right
In saying you love me this night
You can't believe how much I feel
But are you imagined or are you real
Because you're far to perfect to be
Flesh and blood that lives and breathes
For now I'll wait right here in the back
For patience is not a thing I lack
