Chinthani Kumaradasa Poet Blank verse

And I Know

once you looked at me
for i was your choice
then you refused me 
for i was not your choice

once you needed me
for i was there for you
then you refused me
i am still there for you

once you remembered me 
for i was in your mind
then you tried to forget me
and i know
i am still there in your mind and soul
