And I Awoke But As In a Dream

And I awoke,
But as in a dream,

And I saw,
100 thousand Chinese Lanterns
Floating silently across the sky,

Lights carried gently by the wind,

Together,
Dancing souls lifting higher,

Pieces of Love, now free,
drifting home,

Free to fly,
To a bigger place,

Towards
the glowing
Dawn.
