And He Scored

And he
scored....
The whole
world lit up
To herald a
hero
What a
million years
wait
To get a goal
If just one....

Guns
blazing,twitter-
trumpets
Shockwaves
boomeranging
around the
hemisphere
Hope rising
to the
depleted

How a goal
unites the
world
Like a thief
in the night
The
unexpected
goal....unites
the world
Everyone
wanted a
peek of it

The sicke
jumped out
of their bed
The old
abandoned
their
crutches
Those on
deathbed
wanted to
witness
This once in
a lifetime
Opportunity
To view this
historic
moment

History
made...
Eight years
gone
Mikel finally
bangs a goal
Now arsenal
beliefs...
After
anxious
sleeplessness
Their
barrenness
is about to
go into
extinction

The whole
world united
Cause a
man scores
a goal
If just for a
day...
A goal saved
the world

*mikel*
chelsea f.c
footballer
after he
finally gets a
premierleague
goal
*arsenal* a
football club
in England
