And
And the darkness spreads the light,
And the people they cower in fright.
The darkness falls, and they’re all alone,
And they all know that they’re owned.
And then the light comes beaming in!
And the people know that they can’t win.
Then the light burns out their souls.
Leaves nothing in the world, just black coals.
And the moon shines onto the sun!
The sun’s lights go out, one by one.
In and out, to and fro, and then the fireflies, they go.
And the world’s lights are gone, and the people have died.
The darkness has won and the wisdom has lied.
The light has perished and the people are lost.
The result it garish, and then the darkness is tossed
Aside by the nothing that makes its way
In through the night and out through the day.
The nothing is nothing and nothing shall stay.
