Ancient We

I don't know if you follow this
our evolution I mean
things we would avoid
if we still shared the same hate
these days I was looking for a way out
my way of saying peace
but I haven't had success with success
again I came home again
thing that wasn't even me
I saw your horrible picture in the hallway
even the leaves of grass wet with rain
were more interesting than you
I didn't sleep well that night
there's so much light and life around here
I need to buy a blackout curtain at once

L Milton Hankins April 27, 2022 at 8:42 AM I'm not sure I understand this one, but I know I would be removing a picture from the hallway. It seems to me that you had a rotten day and you may be taking it out on the wrong person? If you told "someone" even wet grass is more interesting than they are, well, that's pretty strong. I see you crossing a bridge; a blackout curtain probably won't do it.
