Anchored Upon the Lord's Statutes
Our steadfastness prevails midst life’s pressures
…Anchored upon God’s statutes* of heavenly treasures.
Our obedience is blessed by the King of Kings within His leadership
…Built on precepts for character-formation around His fellowship.
Our labour for the Master demands our willing submission
…Commanded along His voice soothing with His compassion.
Our victory is ultimately attained around the Lord and His achievement
…Sealed through His command fulfilled with joy’s accomplishment.
Our faith in the Sovereign is increased toward service-radiance
…Brightened by His testimony, worthy of our allegiance.
*Psalm 19:8 “The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.”
